Knowledge Is Not Shared Without Understanding

Understanding the listener is the most critical point in sharing knowledge.

Without this key element, both the speaker and listener may have knowledge of a specific idea, but the application of it can lead to very opposite applications.

Take for instance the discussion of a sprayer. In the U.S., I could describe to an individual what I am looking for and send them to the store. They would go to the kitchen sink section to find. In Thailand, armed with the same description of a sprayer, they would enter a similar store and find it in the toilet section. Same sprayer to one persuasion it is used to clean for entry, and to another persuasion it cleans up after the exit.

With all your getting get Understanding!
