This message comes from years of application in children’s ministry, sales management, pastoral care, prison ministry, mentorship and personally.  It serves as the bedrock of our ministry and Mission: 300 program.

The narrative focuses on what Jesus came to do in paying the price for us to receive with all the benefits . . . a restored relationship to our Father.  This relationship we can enter into freely by His grace, unearned and undeserved. This is not a new message by definition, but we have discovered it has been hidden under the guilt of slavery and condemnation.  It is time for the cycle to end. It is time to accept the free gift of the Father.

The Message
Malachi 4:5 - 6, " Look, I am sending you the prophet Elijah before the great and dreadful day of the the Lord arrives. His preaching will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Otherwise I will come and strike the earth with a curse."

Identity and purpose is all tied into the relationship between a father and a child. With the fall of man this natural relationship has become altered, broken, frustrated and/or damaged.  We have seen this breakdown affect our natural relationships and the fruit of it has been societal malfunction.  This breakdown has also altered our view of God and his role as Father.  God, however, put into place a method to override fallen man’s influence on this relationship, His Son Jesus. Why? Because He created us to take on the spirit, identity, and inheritance that is a result of a father and child relationship. It is from this relationship Jesus lived this life on the earth and He wants us to operate in the same grace.

John 8:14 - For I know where I came from and where I am going. . .
This all begins with a restored relationship to God as a Father and child. This is critical because our way through life is contingent on the direction and experience of a father.  Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life and no man can come to the Father except through me." When we are lost it is rooted in this point, we do not know our Father.

Jesus clarified His position and our born again role in John 5:18-19, ”Therefore the Jews sought all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the Sabbath, but also said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. Then Jesus answered and said to them, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do, for whatever He does, the son also does in like manner. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all things that He himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel!'"
